Area Sales Manager Steam / Condensate / Water

Location: Midlands (Birmingham / Derby / Leicester)

 

Overview:

 

A high-performing Area Sales Manager is needed to drive £1m annual sales across a well-established region. Youll manage a mix of repeat-spend customers and warm legacy accounts, using a consultative, technically aware approach to maximise revenue and margin. Experience with steam, hot water, building services, or M&E packages is ideal.

This role suits a commercially sharp, technically confident salesperson who can grow accounts, win new business, and build strong partnerships across internal teams.

  • Work closely with technical, support, service, and marketing teams to deliver a seamless customer journey.

  • Maintain clear sales pipeline visibility and project tracking.
  • Keep CRM records accurate and up to date.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal policies and processes.

Qualifications & Experience

 

  • Proven territory sales experience within technical or industrial sectors.
  • Experience selling technical solutions or engineered products is a strong advantage.
  • Understanding of steam, condensate, hot water, or building services highly desirable.
