The Opportunity
An established lift company is looking to recruit an experienced Lift Service Engineer to cover a well-maintained service route across Exeter and the surrounding region. This is an excellent opportunity for a service-focused engineer who enjoys fault finding, autonomy, and working with a stable portfolio of equipment.
The role is being managed confidentially by a recruitment consultancy, so full client details will be shared at interview stage.
Key Responsibilities

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on a portfolio of lifts

Attending breakdowns and fault-finding efficiently and safely

Ensuring equipment remains compliant with current safety standards

Providing a high level of customer service on-site

Completing service documentation accurately and on time

Liaising with the wider engineering and office teams when required
Equipment

Predominantly traction and hydraulic lifts

Open to engineers with experience across a range of manufacturers
Requirements

Proven experience as a Lift Service Engineer

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Lift Engineering preferred

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
-
Full UK driving licence
-
Ability to work independently and manage a service route
