Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Service Contract Salesperson to join our clients team in London. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and growing our service contract portfolio within the lift and escalator industry. You will use your strong communication and negotiation skills to build relationships with clients, identify their needs, and provide tailored service solutions that meet their operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities for lift and escalator service contracts in London and the surrounding areas.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients through research, networking, and lead generation.

Client Relationship Management
- Establish strong, long-lasting relationships with property managers, facilities teams, developers, and building owners.
- Understand client requirements and present tailored solutions to secure service agreements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns promptly.

Contract Negotiation and Closing
- Prepare and present professional proposals and quotations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate service terms and conditions to secure contracts while maintaining profitability.
- Close deals effectively and ensure all contractual obligations are clearly understood by both parties.

Market Research and Insights
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
- Provide regular feedback to the management team on market dynamics and client demands.

Collaboration with Internal Teams
- Work closely with the operations, service, and finance teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns to drive service contract sales.

Reporting and Administration
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and contract details using CRM software.
- Provide regular sales reports to the Regional Sales Manager, highlighting performance and opportunities.
Requirements
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within the lift and escalator industry or related sectors (e.g., facilities management, building services).
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of lift and escalator systems and service contracts.
- Existing network within property management or facilities sectors in London.
- Experience with tendering and large contract negotiations.
