About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Escalator Engineer to join our client’s growing team, covering Greater London on a 4 on, 4 off day shift pattern. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on a range of escalator equipment across commercial and public-sector sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on escalators in line with contractual agreements

• Attend breakdowns and carry out effective fault diagnosis and repairs

• Complete minor and major repairs where required

• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with company procedures and industry safety standards

• Accurately complete service reports and documentation

• Maintain high levels of customer service and communication on site

• Support improvements in equipment reliability and performance

Requirements

• Proven experience working as an Escalator Engineer

• NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering (or equivalent)

• Good knowledge of a variety of escalator manufacturers

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

• Full UK driving licence

• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
