🔧 CHP Engineer – Gloucester

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled CHP Engineer to join a leading provider of combined heat and power solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with experience in CHP systems, gas engines, or power generation who is looking to work with cutting-edge technology in a supportive and professional environment.
You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of CHP units at customer sites in and around the Gloucester area, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency for critical energy systems.
Key Responsibilities

Service, maintenance, and repair of CHP units (gas engines)

Fault-finding and diagnostics on mechanical and electrical systems

Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

Carrying out engine overhauls and component replacements

Providing technical support and advice to customers

Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with regulations
Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience as a CHP Engineer, Gas Engine Engineer, or similar role in power generation

Strong mechanical and electrical skills

Experience with manufacturers such as MAN, CAT, Jenbacher, or equivalent

Understanding of control systems and fault diagnosis

Full UK driving licence

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
