Fire & Security Engineer

Our client is expanding their team and seeking experienced a Fire & Security Engineer with the ability to carry out all planned and reactive maintenance requirements across a range of commercial properties. These include retail, hospitality, educational facilities, healthcare, and government institutions, delivering a high standard of service to every customer.

The role of Fire & Security Engineer will involve:

  • Servicing and maintaining Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Networking.

  • Ensuring client satisfaction is achieved before leaving site by delivering premium service and high-quality workmanship.

  • Accurately completing all required documentation, including timesheets and job reports, using the company’s service management system.

  • Adhering to all relevant Health and Safety procedures and best practices.

  • Participating in the company’s out-of-hours callout rota.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong technical knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm Systems.

  • Knowledge of Networking and PABX systems (advantageous).

  • Gent Approved Engineer status (training can be provided if not certified).

  • FIA Maintainer Qualification desirable.

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the maintenance and repair of Fire & Security systems.

  • Full UK Driving Licence.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and positive “can-do” attitude.

  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and deliver results within deadlines.
