Job Description
We are recruiting an experienced Repair Department Manager on behalf of a client in the lift industry. This is an office-based role located in Sidcup, Kent, leading the delivery and development of the company’s repair services across London and the Home Counties.
The Role
You'll be responsible for the delivery of modernisation projects and small-scale lift repairs, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and service quality.
Key Responsibilities

Manage, plan, and coordinate the repair and modernisation projects across the operational region.

Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring timely completion of all small repair jobs and installations.

Collaborate with clients and internal teams to scope, cost, and schedule works.

Supervise, support, and motivate the team to maintain high standards and productivity.

Monitor project budgets, reporting, and compliance with relevant health and safety guidelines.

Drive process improvements in the repair department through strategic input and hands-on leadership.
Requirements

Proven experience in lift engineering is essential.

Strong project and team management skills in a technical service environment.

Must hold a full UK driving license.
