We’re looking for a skilled and self-motivated Service & Commissioning Engineer to join our Service Department in a field-based role. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a senior position within a dynamic business, where you’ll play a pivotal role in commissioning cutting-edge BMS (Building Management Systems) and controls technology across a range of commercial and industrial projects.

About the Role:
As a Senior Commissioning Engineer, you’ll be a go-to expert for control systems across multiple sites. You’ll lead by example, provide guidance to junior engineers, and ensure successful delivery of BMS projects from commissioning to client handover. Your technical expertise and leadership will directly contribute to the continued growth and reputation of our service department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commissioning of BMS systems and front-end supervisors
- Producing comprehensive commissioning reports and test documentation
- Integrating third-party systems via MODbus, Mbus, BACnet, etc.
- Liaising closely with project managers and service coordinators
- Supervising site personnel and guiding junior engineers
- Developing and modifying software strategies and system graphics
- Conducting energy audits and proposing efficiency solutions
- Supporting clients with technical advice and system improvements
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong background in BEMS and conventional control systems
- Proven experience commissioning BMS systems
- Ability to fault-find, read schematics, and interpret system applications
- Logical thinking, proactive mindset, and self-driven work ethic
- Excellent communication skills and a professional approach
- Ability to lead and train junior team members
- Flexibility to travel and stay overnight when required
Business Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (37.5 hours/week)
Travel Required: Yes (field-based role with varying site locations)
