About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy Plant Fitter to join a reputable and growing organisation operating in the South East of England. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced fitter who thrives on diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of heavy plant machinery.

• Carry out diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs on a range of construction and earthmoving equipment.

• Conduct inspections and ensure machinery complies with safety and operational standards.

• Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with the team and clients.

• Attend breakdowns and provide on-site repairs when necessary.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Heavy Plant Fitter or in a similar mechanical role.

• Strong mechanical and hydraulic diagnostic skills.

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent (desirable).

• Full UK driving licence.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
