We are currently look for a HGV Class 1 Driver

Key Responsibilities:

• Presenting assets for MOT testing at our onsite ATF lane (off-site)
• Conducting voluntary brake testing and loading weights for MOT preparation
• Handling yard and workshop shunting duties with precision
• Collaborating with DVSA personnel and third parties on the ATF lane
• Fulfilling forklift and telehandler duties as required
• Engaging in general yard upkeep, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs
• Assisting with small trailer repairs and ensuring cleanliness of trailers
• Performing MOT steam cleaning and ensuring timely completion of compliance details
• Operating company vehicles in accordance with road traffic laws and company policies
• Participating in required training and embodying our commitment to exceptional customer service

Qualifications:

• Valid HGV Class 1 license is essential
• Forklift license is desirable
• Enthusiastic attitude with excellent communication skills
• Basic computer literacy for completing necessary documentation
• Customer-focused mindset with a high level of professionalism
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Initiative to work independently when needed

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000
