Duties:

50% Workshop Manager
Maintain Workshop Clean, Tidy and Safe.
Supervise Electrical Drawings
In charge of the build-up of all cabinets and testing them in the office
Connect all electrical equipment and test electrical cables if needed
Update electrical drawings and PowerPoint and other documentations o Transport organisation of equipment and electrical panels to and from site
10% In charge of purchasing all equipment related to all projects.
Maintain daily track of missing orders Weekly follow up with various suppliers
Maintain track of ICS inventory
10% In charge of ICS Health & Safety
10% In charge of Project Documentation
Organise RAMS, permits as require and install the equipment as needed (brackets, panels, safety equipment)
Organise Standards for all projects
20% Software / Electrical Installations onsite throughout the UK and Ireland, occasionally Europe
Performing timely and accurate service inhouse and in customer’s plants, such as installation, troubleshooting or repair to equipment
Responsible for projects from concept to completion as requested
Ability to manage many different jobs at any one time using both yours and Directors judgement to prioritise these jobs
Manage Company resources through effective and appropriate use and maintenance of equipment, tools, supplies, phones, and energy
Ability to travel 20% of the time (domestic and foreign) to various client sites

Qualifications:

High school diploma required; Bachelor of Applied Sciences preferred.
Reached A Level of math, physics and science
3 years Apprenticeship ONC, HNC is a plus, work in the industry, different background of Engineering
Requires a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in managing a workshop
Must be able to perform work assignments that are of a technical, involved nature, requiring the use of judgement and independent thinking
Experience working with different voltages (24V AC/DC; 240V AC; 415V AC)
Reading & understanding of Electrical & Mechanical drawings
Build up a knowledge of CAD experience
Knowledge in EPLAN is a plus
Knowledge in conveyor systems is a plus
Knowledge in PLC programming using Siemens / Allen Bradley is a plus

Working with clients to provide technical support in connection with faults, modifications, maintenance and repairs for existing and new systems supplied by SC.
