❄️ Refrigeration Engineer (CO2 Specialist)

🔧 The Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a market-leading refrigeration contractor looking for a highly competent CO2 Refrigeration Engineer to cover West London and the South East region. You’ll be working across a mix of commercial and retail sites, conducting installation, service, and maintenance work primarily on CO2 (R744) refrigeration systems.

🧰 Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems, with a focus on CO2 technology

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

• Diagnosing faults and performing effective repairs

• Working to high health & safety standards and regulatory compliance

• Completing service reports and communicating with clients professionally

✅ Requirements

• Proven experience working on CO2 refrigeration systems (essential)

• F-Gas Category 1 certification

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent

• Full UK driving licence

• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills

• Strong customer service and communication skills

🎯 Desirable

• Experience with supermarket refrigeration systems

• Additional certifications such as hydrocarbon handling or electrical qualifications
