Lift Installation Engineer – Cardiff

📍 Location: Cardiff & Surrounding Areas
💷 Salary: Up to £60,000 Basic + Overtime + Benefits
🕒 Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lift Installation Engineer to join a well-established and growing lift company. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of installation projects across commercial and residential sites, ensuring high-quality and safe installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing new lift systems, including traction and hydraulic lifts, to industry standards
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Ensuring all work complies with British Standards and health & safety regulations
• Collaborating with project managers and site teams to meet deadlines
• Testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting post-installation
• Providing excellent customer service and representing the company professionally

What We’re Looking For:

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) – Essential
• Proven experience in lift installation across multiple manufacturers
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
