Service Manager - Power Generation Industry

Location – Motherwell

Salary - £40,000 - £50,000

 

Are you an experienced Service Manager within the Power Generation industry? Do you have a strong background in working with generators? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Service Manager based within commuting distance to Motherwell.

 

As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the service and maintenance operations for power generators, ensuring the highest level of performance and customer satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage a team of service engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support.
  • Develop and implement service plans and schedules for power generators.
  • Ensure all service and maintenance activities are carried out to the highest standards.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements to optimize service delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for business growth and develop strategies to expand the service department.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to enhance the service offerings.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Proven experience as a Service Manager within the Power Generation industry.
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with generators.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement service plans and schedules.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license.

 

Working Hours and Benefits:

 

  • This is a full-time position with a competitive salary between £40,000 and £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
